On our website or other digital resources, as well as for legitimate business purposes as consulting services for biotech, pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies, ACSG may request personal data about you. Please note that erasure or restriction of processing is only possible if and to the extent that the processing of personal data is based on your consent or our legitimate interests. In the event of an erasure request, we may retain a copy of your personal data for our record-keeping purposes and to avoid entering your personal data in our systems after your request.

Data Security
ACSG takes reasonable steps to protect personal data we access or receive from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Nevertheless, we make no guarantee as to the security of your personal data and disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all liability and damages caused by loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Incident Response Management
Any breach of security resulting to accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or unauthorized access to personal data transmitted, stored or handled in other ways is considered a Data Security Incident (DSI). Upon becoming aware of a DSI we will immediately initiate an investigation:
· Information on the scope of the incident in question will be collected. All information gathered or discovered during a DSI will be strictly confidential throughout the investigative process.
· If the DSI involves the unauthorized access or disclosure of personal data we will inform the respective person within 24 hours about
o information relevant to the incident
o any additional requested information to which they have a right to.
· In the event the DSI is limited to ACSG’s systems not containing personal data, sensitive or confidential information, it will be at ACSG’s discretion whether or not to share information related to the incident with external stakeholders.
All reports generated during a DSI investigation along with any evidence gathered will be stored and managed by ACSG including data being backed up and stored in accordance with our regular backup procedures and in compliance with applicable law.
